  1. There is nothing more frustrating (after having spent $7000 on
  2. an IBM PC/XT and then an additional $50 on chess software) than
  3. to get home and have to fool with a floppy when there is a perfectly
  4. good fixed disk which is 10 times as fast and quieter to boot (pun
  5. intended).

  7. Therefore the following information is provided which will enable
  8. XT owners to transfer Sargon III to fixed disk:

  10. (assuming the sargon disk is in drive a, and default drive is c)
  11.  
  12. copy a:sargon.III sargon3.com (original sargon3.com is NOT copied)

  26. Copy b000.bok from floppy to fixed disk. (b000.bok contains the book
  27. openings)

  29. None of the other files are required and should NOT be copied to fixed
  30. disk.

  32. Sargon should function normally, except that unfortunately when Sargon
  33. exits, Sargon reboots the system. (Couldn't find an easy change for that
  34. one)

  36. Note: This information is being provided to allow registered Sargon III
  37.       owners to transfer a single copy of Sargon to a fixed disk. It is
  38.       not intended for any other use.
